Research Engineer - Assistantship
- Established remote testing and coding development environment using Docker and bash
- Developed 3-D vector fields of seismic wave propagation using Python
- Implemented a low pass and smoothing function filter to perform data averaging on seismic data
- Coordinated and managed a team of 6 peers ensuring all were trained in operating subsurface imaging equipment and capable of performing assigned duties
- Conducted meetings and interfaced directly with team members to review processing steps and chosen parameters via presentations and weekly status reports
- Spearheaded data collection; performed quality assurance tests on large data sets

After graduating with a B.S in Geophysics, I continued to pursue coding and realized software engineering was the right field for me. Since then, I have continued my computer science education through open courses, coding challenges, and countless projects.
